Our first Make & Take will be on May 31st, 2008 at 5:30 pm. It will be hosted in Gilbert- exact location is to be determined. DZC has volunteered his place- but his wife is requiring him to get the Honey-Do List completed before hand. He is also trying to get his friend to offer his place instead, since it’s soo much larger. We’ll let you know when the exact address is locked down!
We’ll be making Blinky Bugs and Fire Flies! So get your LEDs ready, and let’s go!!! We’ll also be discussing the overall direction of AZHSEA, so you don’t want to miss this one! We have some HUGE plans for the upcoming year, and would love for everyone to be involved. We request that every guest brings some munchies or refreshments for everyone to enjoy as well. Please join the Discussion Forums to hear all the details & RSVP! We’ll see you there!
Note: The image above is what we’re making- the video is a sample of how they work.
This was just posted in our Discussion Forums today by one of our members. Randy Holmes created a Flying Crank Spider! What an awesome prop- I can’t wait to see it in person this year!
I have been working on a new prop this year. It is a dangling Crank Spider. It has been quite a time consuming project. I used this as a template. http://hauntforum.com/showthread.php?t= … ght=spider . The hardest part is building the legs and keeping them strong, as well as hinging them to the body. Will probably do some more painting on this, but for now, here she is. Oh by the way, it’s about 8 feet across.
This just in! Rumors are flying that TransWorld is going back to Vegas for 2009! The preliminary Dates are said to be March 6th - 9th, 2009. This was confirmed today by a source we have. Apparently this goes against all expectations due to the huge lack of participation in 2008’s venture in the same City. Maybe they locked into a very nice venue for the right price? Who knows. I’m sure we’ll hear something new in the upcoming weeks…
One of the oldest haunted attractions is around with a new look. Pirates of Emerson, a haunted attraction located in Fremont, California, have just launched their new website and schedule for 2008. The site is really well done, and is definitely worth a look. Although that Flash intro is so 1999 guys!
Welcome our Newest Member, Jason with Elswarro Productions! It’s amazing the quality of talent we have brought together in such a short time! Please go to his site and check out what they do. They have some awesome media and commercial samples of things they have done thus far. These guys truly represent what AZHSEA is all about! I have BIG plans for these guys and AZHSEA in the upcoming year! As he posted in our forums:
