Here’s a cool clip from one of our members, Scott Renfield. Check out those blood effects! Nice work, kid!
My son’s latest English assignment was to create a
movie trailer based on a book of his choosing; you can
see in the subject line which he chose. It came out
pretty good (as cameraman and editor I am completely
impartial), particularly considering we did it over
the weekend.
This was just posted in our Discussion Forums today by one of our members. Randy Holmes created a Flying Crank Spider! What an awesome prop- I can’t wait to see it in person this year!
I have been working on a new prop this year. It is a dangling Crank Spider. It has been quite a time consuming project. I used this as a template. http://hauntforum.com/showthread.php?t= … ght=spider . The hardest part is building the legs and keeping them strong, as well as hinging them to the body. Will probably do some more painting on this, but for now, here she is. Oh by the way, it’s about 8 feet across.
This was just posted by our newest member, Indiana Holmes in the Discussion Forums! This is just an awesome display of what our members are capable of! Here’s the details on it…
I did this last year with two 3-axis skulls. I’m basically a computer retard but was willing to do whatever it took to get thiese going. They ended up being two scarecrows bantering back and forth doing a parody of Abbott and Costello’s “Whos on First”. It turned out great and I am ready to do two more this year. Already have the skulls, controller board, and servos. Still need the hardware, plate, wiring and another computer. VSA was really pretty easy, even for me. Here is avideo snippet of them on my workbench during testing.
